Owner and operator of WA Euro. I have 23 years experience in the motor trade working on European cars.
I Started my own business in 2011 providing a specialist European mechanic service that I felt was needed in Perth. There seemed to be no real alternative to the dealership for quality service and repairs and I felt that the people of Perth deserved to have more choice.

We work very hard to keep ourselves and our work environment in the cleanest and tidiest condition. Nobody wants to bring their pride and joy to an untidy workshop with greasy floors and greasier mechanics ;)

Some more about me
I have always had a passion for cars and when the time came, I got myself an apprenticeship with Land Rover UK where I gained an NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle servicing and repair. The Land Rover Modern Apprenticeship program is still regarded as the best program in Europe, where instead of training a day here and there, training was at the manufacturer's own training centre for one or two weeks at a time.
After 5 years I took some time out to travel but still continued to work in car dealerships along my way.
On my return I became a service adviser at a local Audi dealer where I was the first point of contact for car owners visiting the dealership. In this position I was able to hone my diagnostic skills further. A large part of my job was to carry out diagnostics and repairs to get customers back on the road quicker. This left the workshop to continue uninterrupted with general servicing and repairs.
My next position was at Mercedes Benz as a service and diagnostics technician using the latest technologies on some of the worlds best cars.
From here I was offered a technician position at Renault in Wanneroo, Western Australia. I remained here until the dealer closed to merge with another Perth Renault dealer.
Before I started my own business, I spent some very satisfying years working with my favorite brand....Volkswagen. My first car was a VW and I'm sure my last will also be one. To date, I have owned more than 20 VWs and currently still own 7 (if we take into account customer loan cars and personal cars). My garage is ever changing.....
Since starting my own business I have had to draw on all my training and experience to exceed my customer's expectations. I had become frustrated with the way that dealerships treat their customers and now find it extremely satisfying to offer a service that I feel comfortable with and that my customers trust.
A good friend of mine once told me "a happy customer will tell 2 people.....an unhappy customer will tell 20 people!". As a small business owner, The best way to fuel my business is through positive reviews and word of mouth. This is reflected in our work every day.
